The course for the full time Diploma in Engineering shall extend over a period of three academic years, consisting of 6 semesters and the first year is common to all Engineering branches.
Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form, which can be obtained from the Polytechnic Office on payment. The cost of the application and other details regarding application and admissions will be given in the advertisement in the leading dailies during May/June every year.
Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) for admission to diploma in engineering courses. The DCECE exams will be held across the state of Bihar in exam centers in a pen and paper mode. Applicants should have passed Class 10th standard conducted from Bihar Board or any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 35% marks.
