ORIENTATION PROGRAM’23
An orientation program was heldat GEMS Polytechnic College on June20, 2023 for the computer Science Engineering Department. The studentsof the department as well as the staff members participated. The program which marked a momentous entry for the incoming cohort into the hallowed halls of academic pursuit commenced with an offering of prayer by Mr. Rama Gopal, the Hon’ able Principal of the College.
ORACLE DATABASE WORKSHOP
The Computer Science Department conducted a two-day Oracle Database Administration workshop on May 9, 2023, featuring Mr. Humaish Zaman Yusufi, a senior consultant at Atos, as the guest speaker. The event provided comprehensive insights into Oracle database management, emphasizing career opportunities and industry trends. With engaging sessions and valuable information, the workshop successfully empowered fifty students and staff members to make informed decisions about their future in Oracle Database Administration.
SOBEIT CYBERSECURITY TRAINING PROGRAM
An online cybersecurity training program was held online in GEMS Polytechnic College on 2nd,3rd, 9th and10th of December . This was a remarkable initiative by CSE Department tailored exclusively for the empowerment of girls and women in the cybersecurity sphere.
TECHNICAL ACTIVITY
The students of the final year of the Computer Science & Engineering Branch (2018-2020 Batch) have taken the initiative to develop the project for GEMS Polytechnic College. Basically, they want to develop the above project in order to establish better communication between Faculties & the students. The students of the pre-final year also assisting in the development of the project.
